Jenelle Visits Chicago

Jenelle cant bear to live without me so she booked flights to come see me after only a week of being away. hahaha. We had a lot of fun touring the city, going to the beach, and checkin out the night life. I had never been to Navy Pier so it was nice to check that out. We went on the giant ferris wheel, and did the flying swings. Heres is a peak at thattt....

Also on the pier we went on speed boats in Lake Michigan and did fancy tricks, and went realy fast.... until the clouds poured through and we got a major thunderstorm. This is what the city looked like from the boat...

And then we walked all the way home in the biggest storm of life (there were tornado warnings!! Tornado Warnings?) We stopped at a bar for a drink (because, we were obviously feeling parched) It was fancy. We looked like drowned rats. The ba tender got a nice tip. Everyone was happy. And when came home this is what my front lawn looked like.

...GEM KIDDOS

Jillian and I had some people over last night. We met a bunch of other kids who live on campus who are also in our program. We had some snackies and wine. It was a fun time... and great to get to know the other people.

And this is Jillian. But hopefully we can take a better pic this weekend. hahaha

Tomorrow, Jenelle is flying in to come stay for the weekend. More pics to come...

MY APARTMENT

Im a little behind with the updates, so I need to back track. It was sad saying goodbye to all of my friends, but I was so excited to finally make my dreams into a reality. I packed up my room: (Or rather tried to pack, and instead made a bigger mess each time.

...and heres gizzy. Nesting.

And then we packed up the van-

Then, we embarked. I put my camera in the front seat hoping to take pictures of all the "Welcome" signs as we crossed borders. As we approached New York I turned on my camera, flung out the car door, aimed, focused, and just as I was ready to click. My camera died. Go Me.

..The end.

It is kind of funny that I am starting a blog from "the end". But to every end there is a new beginning. I just graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor's in biology and a concentration in gerontology. Now... the next step. graduate school.
